More good deals in spokane!

Today I got out of work a bit early and was able to hit up Spokane Discount with my coupon.  I spent less than $20 and was able to get Speedo Swim Trunks for Justin, a bathrobe for Caden to wear when hot tubbing at my parents, 2 cami's for me, an adidas workout shirt for me, and a cardigan sweater.  Oh yeah, and 3 dish scrubbing sponges! 

What a good day of bargain hunting! 

Elton John Rocks Spokane!

I had the opportunity to attend the Elton John concert in Spokane on Friday April 8!  It was amazing!  We had a client event and we invited clients to dinner and the concert and we had a blast.  He sang, and played, and just provided some great entertainment!  These pictures were taken from our wonderful seats! 

What a great event and so nice to have it in Spokane!

Spring at the park

I am not sure about you or anyone else, but I am ready for Spring!  Since it is April, we have decided that we should do spring activities which include going to the park and seeing the Spokane River in full force!  So this Sunday, that is what we did!  We hit the park, saw the river and bought our summer passes for the park.

Caden got to go on his favorite ride - the planes.  They go up and down and I couldn't get a good picture, so this is as he went by.

Deals at Spokane Discount

Anyone that knows me will not be surprised by this:  I love a deal!  So when I read the newspaper on Saturday, I was thrilled to see the coupons that were in the paper for Spokane Discount.  We are talking 92% off of all clothing (certain restrictions) and a limit of 6 items.  I knew I had to work this into my day.  It is a good thing I did, look at what I bought for the low amount of $36.00.  AMAZING!

I bought 2 pairs of capri pants, an adidas workout shirt, a skort, a pair of shorts, leggings, a casual top, a Carters jacket for Caden, a pair of layering pants for justin, and Clorox bleach for colors! 

To quote my friend Kelli "I spent over $200 bucks at target and didn't get half of that!" 

Well Spokane Discount is the place where Costco sends things they can't/won't sell.  For instance items that are returned, or even items that are overstocked and they need to move it to make room for next season's merchandise.  We have found great clothing items, workout gear, pajamas, kids clothes, our couch, and even household items.  Maybe they should change their name to Spokane's secret, since no one seems to know about it. 

We will just call this good value shopping in Spokane.  If you are coming to Spokane, make some time for this place.  Even if you don't have a coupon, clothing is still always 50% off!

Learning something new every day!

So today I was helping Justin set up his blog - stay tuned for that - when I discovered how to check stats on my blog.  I can see how people are finding my blog and what is the popular search... My number one searched post is from St Patrick's day parade 2008.  Who knew that would be so popular.  Well, by popular, I mean 5 people searched for it.  :) 

Mick Fenway is another good one to search on.  It used to be when you searched for that, instead of getting their website, you would get my blog!  I think now it pulls up both.

So stay tuned for some new things coming to the blog, not sure what I will change up, but you will just have to keep checking in to see what we are up to in Spokane!
