Chuck E Cheese - Tons of Fun

For those of you that don't know, Chuck E Cheese is a bit different from how it used to be. The ball pit is gone, there is not a wall of talking heads and it is now brightly lit.

Pete & Vanessa came to town for a late Christmas visit. They couldn't make it to the family christmas the week before due to snow, so they came after Christmas. We decided it would be fun to go to Chuck E Cheese. We were right, there was hardly anyone there. We had the place to ourselves.

When we got to our table, Chuck came over to say hi. Caden really liked him. Then we went on some rides - Bob the builder, barney, a fire truck....

We also played some skeeball, and it turns out I am the best out of Pete, my dad, & Caden. We had a lot of fun. Thanks for taking us mom & dad!

Sledding on Christmas with the dogs

Obviously this isn't us sledding. It's our yummy dessert - "the trifle" This is Justin's special dessert that we have on Christmas. It is delicious! As promised, here are some pictures of Caden being pulled in the sled by the dogs. They are not the greatest pictures, but you get the idea. That is my mom in the first one with him. She is wearing her new yak trax which are these snap on springs to help you walk in the ice & snow easier. We each got a pair and they are awesome!

As I said, this was the best I could do for a picture. We hooked the dogs up to the sled and they pulled Caden. Don't worry, everyone had fun, especialy the dogs. They don't love snow, but they don't have a choice. :)

Opening presents

Okay, I know that I am beautiful, see evidence below! :) Caden had fun opening his presents on Christmas morning. He really liked to tear the paper open. Here he is sitting on his new Diego Couch with all his presents. See Elmo and the hotwheels city. He also got playdough and a crayola coloring mat amongst other things. See the cookie in my hand, that's Caden's cookie, I am just holding it. :)

He was one happy little boy with all his presents.

Do you Believe in Santa?

I will start by saying, these pictures are in reverse order.... Thanks Blogger! On Christmas eve, Caden wrote a letter to Santa and left him cookies, carrots & Milk. When we woke up, Santa wrote back and left his plate clean and drank all the milk! It was amazing!

This is what our tree looked like after Santa came.

This is Caden writing his letter to Santa. I am hanging sideways off the couch because it was tight quarters....

This is Caden wearing my boots. He put them on and I started laughing so I took a picture.

He is a character to say the least. Every morning we tell him to find his hat. Some days he finds his winter hat, other days he comes back with a baseball hat or a sun hat. At least it's a hat.
