Here is a standard evening for us - We get home from Daycare and feed Caden dinner. Whatever he doesn't like, he throws on the floor. We are working on that, until we figure that out, the dogs clean up. Then we go outside so the dogs can go out. After the dogs have done their business, Caden plays on the mini swingset. See Below.
He doesn't stay put for long.... then it's bathtime and a little more play time.
This is Caden playing with the lint roller and climbing on the couch. Next we have Caden playing with Rocky and Piper. Piper puts up with a lot from Caden. Rocky usually runs away.
Case in point: Caden caught Piper and gave him a kiss and a pat. I had to tell him no when he grabbed pipers face. In case you weren't aware, Caden has no fear! The good news is, he goes to be by 8pm and I can take a deep breath at that point.
A easy way to check in and see what we are up to here in Spokane. Not the most regular posts these days, but we are busy, what do you expect? Feel free to comment and let us know you are following us. Thanks for reading!

Picture from the Groom!
Greg sent me this picture from his camera (at his own wedding) He calls it the best pictuer of Justin ever! As you can see, us bridesmaids are intent on what Anne is saying. then there is Justin, just wanting to be a part of the picture. Way to go! As I said before, this was an awesome wedding and tons of fun!

Wedding fun
Sean & Justin - male bonding at it's best. Justin was previewing his cruise attire, Sean is dressed down (he wears a suit & tie at work a lot). This was something that Greg did, he had everyone in the wedding party sign a baseball. This was his own momento of the day. Very unique.
Aren't we a cute couple? Thought so! Justin's even giving me flowers (it's my own bouquet).
This last picture has nothing to do with the wedding. Guess what it is.....
It's the complimentary hair dryer in our room at the hotel. We definitely are not staying at the Hyatt anymore.

Napa Part 2 - The wedding
Anne & Greg had a wonderful wedding. It was a beautiful setting and everyone enjoyed themselves. I got the giggles when I first saw the priest (he had a cape on), but I was pretty far away so I don't think anyone caught on. Here is the wedding party - Stephanie (MOH), Anne (bride), me (bridesmaid), & Jessica (bridesmaid).
This is Matt (Stephanie's husband and groomsman) walking down the aisle with me.
Anne & her dad.
This is the artistic shot - good work Justin!
The reception was a lot of fun, we got to visit with friends we hadn't seen in a while which was nice. I even re-connected with a friend who lives in Pasco (not too far from my brother).

Adventures in Napa
This last weekend, Justin & I went to Napa to be a part of the wedding festivities for Anne & Greg. They were in our wedding, so we wanted to be a part of theirs. I was a bridesmaid for Anne. Caden stayed home with my parents, click here to see what they were up to this weekend.
We started out flying in to Oakland Airport on Friday around noon. Then we met up with Anne, Stephanie, her mom Marilyn, Jessica & Sean for a picnic and some wine. This is our picnic at V'Sattui. It was 80 degrees!
After that, we went to the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. I should have broght my camera, but forgot it. Greg's uncle's house was the location for the dinner. It was one of the neatest homes I have been in. The kitchen was out of a magzine and he had some amazing views out the back of the house. It was a great location to be for the evening.
The wedding wasn't until 6pm on Saturday, so we decided to hit some of our key wineries in the morning. We were able to get a tasting at the Cakebread winery. This was a real treat. We didn't know it, but you have to make an appointment for a tasting there. We were there early and someone cancelled. It was our lucky day!
Next we went to a grocery and had a picnic lunch, then on to Chimney Rock. This winery was over the top and apparently out of our league. Most of the tastings were around $10 and they poured 5 tastes. This one was $30. Needless to say we shared that tasting. We weren't impressed.
Last stop was Luna. We thought this was bella luna with the blue bottles, but it's not. They had great wine and a very relaxed atmosphere. What a great way to end our wine tours. After the wine, we went back to get ready for the wedding.

Cousins!
Jen took this picture and we tried really hard to get everyone to sit and look at the camera. This accomplished neither, but is a very funny picture. Caden and Charlie are high fivin or something and Annie is just there because we put her there. My mom wanted a picture of her grandkids, and I think this is the closest we will be getting for now.
Moving trouble...
I thought that we were doing pretty well with our move. We had a plan, and it was executed. Everything was packed and labeled. We even had a barbecue when my brother came the following weekend. Things were looking good, then I went to blog. Amazingly enough, I cannot find the camera. We have taken some pictures, just nothing in the last week. I thought it was on the kitchen table. It's not. Well, that is just how it goes. Here is an update, without pictures, for your reading pleasure.
We moved on 4/6. It was also the same day as Charlie's (my nephew) birthday party. We moved in the morning and then went to the party in the afternoon. My dad flew in for the party and we begged him to help. (it didn't take much begging, he's a pretty great dad) My mom watched Caden during all of the heavy lifting. It took 3 trips with the U-haul, but 98% of our stuff is here. The other 2% is at the townhouse still. We have been very dilligent in unpacking and our main living area is very livable. The guest room is still boxes. If we have a guest coming, let us know so we can focus on that please.
The week after the move, Caden had some diarrhea, which we counted towards moving, until I got the stomach flu and Justin too. Then we decided, he might have something worse. He also got two back teeth on his right side, so sleeping wasn't that great for him either. This last week has gone well, we got a new fridge.
We also applied for our passports so we can go on the Alaska cruise. That's right, everyone got a passport. Even Caden. I filled out the application 3 times. We pre filled out our applications, but the govt updated the forms, so we had to do new ones. Oh yeah, my passport is expired, more than 2 years ago, so I had to do a new form again. The 3rd time is a charm, fingers crossed.

On a side note: This is Caden's chance to be a model. Our friend Jen Fox was in town and she took lots of pictures of Charlie and Annie. She was able to get this photo of Caden and we love it since it shows his teeth. Thanks Jen (her site is on the right - be still)
Jen takes amazing pictures. She was our wedding photographer and just keeps updating her skills!
Well, I am off to look for the camera. Let's hope I find it soon, we are going to napa for the weekend. I would love to have it for the trip!

Our new house!
Tonight we went over to the new house to drop some stuff off. It was an adventure with Caden. My mom came too, so she could entertain Caden while I organized. He already likes the house, there is a lot of room for him to run around and he can peek out the window to watch me at the car. This is us on the steps of the new house. He was not happy because I took out his pacifier for the picture....
On the 3rd try we were both looking at the camera...

It's a dark shot, I will have some better pictures after we move. Speaking of which, moving day is Sunday. We will be painting on Friday and Saturday and then moving on Sunday. Can't wait to get settled in!
Another year of greatness!
Well the Red Sox have started a new season of baseball. It's a different team, but there are still some fans in the house. Caden is holding on to the old school Red Sox pennant that we found at a garage sale last week. I guess this is what happens when I am not home. Justin gets him in the red sox attire and takes his picture.
I am impressed that he sat still!
