THE MARMOT MARCH

Today was the marmot march. Caden was so excited to run the race. He woke me up at 6:30 to let me know that it is time to go to the march. He got to paint his shirt with flourescent paints and meet all the mascots of the Spokane area, including Butch Cougar!

The marmot march is a 1 mile run/walk for kids before bloomsday. Jeannette & I thought it would be fun for the kids to have their own run, so we signed them up. They had a ton of fun. I had to chase Caden through the whole course, and basically ran a mile! That wasn't my plan, but that is what happened!

After the march, caden & I went to mobius kids museum and then had some lunch. on our way home, I asked him what he wanted to do after his nap... his answer "go back to the march!" We won't be running another mile tonight, but perhaps swimming at the YMCA.
